Washer
Check washer fill hoses for cracks, blisters, corroded fittings and leaks. Hoses should be replaced every three to five years.
Check that washer is level on a well supported sub floor. Unbalanced loads cause banging and may cause washer to “walk".
Dryer
Lint build up is the leading cause of dryer failures and increases drying time. Lint build up can cause house fires.
**If your dryer vent is white vinyl, replace it with a rigid or semi rigid aluminum vent.
White vinyl ducts are extremely flammable and do not meet building codes.
